Julie Fox is an award winning production designer who has helped to create some of the most critically acclaimed productions in Toronto and across Canada. Seven original productions have been presented at international theatre festivals, including Luminato, Festival TransAmériques, World Stage, Carrefour international de théâtre and the Edinburgh Fringe.

For the past 12 years she has designed for the Stratford Festival, North America's largest repertory theatre, collaborating most frequently with the artistic director, Antoni Cimolino, and

Chris Abraham, artistic director of Crow's Theatre.​

She has received four Dora Mavor Moore awards for outstanding set design and the Virginia and Myrtle Cooper award for costume design from the Ontario Arts Foundation.
